Xiamen, China - This 42-story tower uses the rock formations and oceanfront setting of Xiamen as a metaphor for strength and energy. The side of the building facing the water is a “wave” of glass, suggesting energy as it captures the spectacular view. We designed the building to accommodate future growth and provide leaseable space for the client in the meantime. Today the building is the tallest on Xiamen’s skyline. We like to think China Construction Bank’s return on investment was as sizable as the building.
