Shanghai, China - A 20-story hotel adjacent to a major university had the potential to be painfully incongruent. However, we took our lead from the university’s master plan and created a building that blends beautifully with the surrounding neighborhood. Three hundred and twenty three guest rooms are efficiently tucked between the fourth and eighteenth floors, while all auxiliary facilities are thoughtfully situated on the first three. Harmony? We never considered any other result. |
