Bothell, Washington - We love it when design saves the day: Insurance heavyweight TIAA needed a campus flexible enough to suit any tenant. Challenges? A tight budget and an even tighter buildable area, thanks to adjacent wetlands. To stay within budget, we integrated tilt-up panels with curtain walls. To protect the wetlands, we minimized soil disturbance and steered clear of the wetlands’ waterflow. Result: conservation of resources, both natural and fiscal. |
