Redmond, Washington - For this ten-acre office campus, completely leased by Microsoft before completion, we secured a special development permit allowing us to design a taller building and gain 20 percent more buildable space. We also achieved the rare feat of gaining project approval with just a single presentation before the Redmond City Council—proving once again that, for an architect, great diplomacy is as important as great design. |
